MECHANICAL	ELECTRONIC
ALEXIOU S.A. first started with the manufacture of mechanical weighbridges in 1937. Our long term experience and consistent commitment to quality gained worthily the trust of the Greek and International Market. Leading the evolution in the field, our company responded efficiently to the introduction of electronic weighing systems, presenting various kinds of weighbridges, mechanical and electronic with pit or pitless. The standard platform dimensions are 8x3 m., 12x3 m., 18x3 m with weighing capacity starting from 50 to 80 tons and smallest division from 10 to 20 Kg. Any other platform dimension, weighing capacity and smallest division is possible depending on the requirements of the particular application and the customer demands. The weighbridge can be connected to a mechanical or an electronic weighing indicator of the series MSZ or to a PC, bar-code, remote display and printer for processing of the data entered during the weighing procedure.
MECHANICAL
The mechanical weighbridges of ALEXIOU S.A. (with pit or pitless) meet the requirements according to the rules of International Organizations (OIML, EUROPEAN STANDARDS) and are composed of the following main parts: the underground mechanism which consists of : knives and edges manufactured from special steel of 62-64 RC hardness after the overhauling the fixed points (4,6 or 8) that protect the lever system from the platform vibrations the main and the auxiliary levers from excellent quality steel the weighing platform which can be of one of the following construction types : type B the main beams and the platform are made from quality B300 armoured concrete and steel armature STAHL III type M the main beams are made from iron and the platform from checkered plate type P the main beams are made from iron and the platform from quality B300 armoured concrete and steel armature STAHL III the weighing indicator that completes the equipment: type TS-2000 mechanical indicator any type of MSZ electronic indicator
ELECTRONIC
The electronic weighbridges of ALEXIOU S.A. (with pit or pitless) also meet the requirements according to the rules of International Organizations (OIML, EUROPEAN STANDARDS) and are composed of the following main parts: the underground mechanism which consists of: 4,6 or 8 load cells inox structure of the German Factory HOTTINGER type C16AC3 or Holland Factory REVERE TRANSDUCERS the supporting bases for the manufactured from special steel of 62-64 RC hardness after the loadcells overhauling the connection cables which have protection against humidity and special cover for the protection from unknown signals. the connection boxes metallic boxes where the cables are connected the weighing platform which can be of one of the following construction types: type B the main beams and the platform are made from quality B300 armoured concrete and steel armature STAHL III type M the main beams are made from iron and the platform from checkered plate type P the main beams are made from iron and the platform from quality B300 armoured concrete and steel armature STAHL III the weighing indicator which completes the equipment: any type of MSZ electronic indicator
